What the Pinnacle pilots should look forward to is upcoming negotiations starting monday in DC. All the lurkers from other carriers should stay up to date with the negotiations as well- If things are successful we show the industry how high the bar is now set, if unsuccessful we show every member of the 121 world how both the NMB, political system, and "industry standard" have changed. This is a rather broad statement but think about the main point that it all represents in your individual situation. Obviously things cannot "change" in a few days in DC, but it should be a pretty good indicator.
i can think of these sessions is that the NMB itself saw the company negotiate in "bad faith bargaining". What do you 9E guys think bout this?

Did I call this one or what... Folks hype it up because you know everyone has a super awesome 'source' that can predict earthquakes and turn water into wine. ....And (drum roll please) another "No progress was made" email. yay!
Same old ******* indeed.
There's nothing to do but ride the wave.

Well...looks like negotiations were halted early by the Mediator. Sounds like the company proposed a "regressive" deal reguarding pref bid. the union had to spend the majority of the day coming up with a response to the company's apparent BS offer, suprise suprise. I guess the only positive thing

All the 9E guys on here talk S&%T when I say that they need to "motivate" management. They come back and say that they will be rewarded with a great contract for working so hard.......... and look how management has rewarded them this time around.
Weird.

I do hope that management eventually gets off their high horse and signs a contract for you guys though.
Not against 9E or anyone, just think that doing everything management says and then hoping for them to sign isnt the way to go.

Well negotiations update came out today, negotiations this week were a disaster and have been put on hold until further notice. This stresses me out, I don't believe I am safe to fly, I should call in fatigued. When I feel that I am safe and I get back to work, I should take it easy, I should taxi slower to be safer, I shouldn't call for rampers or a gate agent because they know I am coming. Also, fuel is very expensive (but not to expensive to taxi single engine or with the APU off, it gets hot back there and thats not safe) I should fly at 250 kias to save fuel. Also, if the company doesnt send my takeoff numbers, I shouldn't bother them it will only stress them out, which in turn will stress me out, and I might have to call in fatigued again. Does anyone else feel this way yet? IF not, what would it take to make you feel this way?
