Default Frontier E175's

I was in PIT yesterday, and there were 7 or 8 E175's there that had the RON kits installed and covers over the wheels like they were going to be there a while. Who's planes are these?

They belong to Republic I think (or at least they lease them).

BTW, the kit installed is far more than the overnight kit. They are sealed up good. Even the tires are covered. They are there for the semi-long term.

They will be there until AA relieves scope and contracts Republic to fly them out of STL.

(Just a joke! Please Eagle, or American guys don't freak out on me!)

It turns out, actually, that the DeHavilland Canada Dash 8, in all shapes and sizes, is God's gift to the industry, regardless of what the passengers think about riding in turboprop airplanes.

The -8 is sexier anyway.
