Well the jet is starting to fly into CLT this month.. The CLT mechanics are getting trained right now.. Roa, RIC, mdt and phl mx bases..

If I'm a betting man I'm saying clt pilot base..

Miami flying wouldn't happen unless we get a mx base down that way.

I know psa is in clt... But there will be clt flying on the 145... So unless they staff the flying through roa and phl.. They are going to need crews down south... Just my opinion unless we kick out west somewhere but there is no mx established out that way..

That could happen because Delta and American seem to be muscling each other in RDU. I know a bunch of Piedmont People that would be more then happy with that. Plus RDU is a really friendly commuting city.

Have considered couple times going back to airline flying. After experiencing a rough seven years in corporate flying I am headed back to the airlines to finish out my career. I read a post that if your not in the flow or OTS with military time your not getting on at American. That said I am thinking of applying here for the flow in case for some reason another major didn't hire me and I could use the bonus cash after going through my first unemployment phase of my career. My questions are: when are the next classes scheduled that are not full, current guess on upgrade time, and likely hood of getting PHL? I am just about to cross the 11,000 hour mark and have about 4,000 pic in the EMB145. Thank you for the help.

You can definitely get PHL relatively fast on the dash, and on the jet it is our only base. I've heard classes going forward will be mostly (in some cases all?) Jet, so i'd say you can pretty much bet on being in PHL before you finish training if not right off the bat.

Most jr upgrade on the jet is a 2/16 hire, and most jr upgrade on the dash is a 5/16 hire (most jr phl ca was hired 3/16). A bid just closed so we will see how that changes when the award comes out
