Yup. Would be nice to know - especially since some of the prerequisite training is airframe specific - but I understand that they cannot 100% guarantee at this point. Also said they just don't have the online training prepared yet for the 145. I'm happy either way - Dash would put me closer to home, but it's looking like not for very long. The lazy SOB in me wants straight into the 145 to prevent potentially going through learning an airframe back to back.

My understanding is that all flying picked up on your days off is paid at 300% that being said, how abundant is the open time flying? Is it pretty much there for the taking if you want to fly on your days off or is it far and few between? Thanks

Just a note, our premium pay works differently than most other regionals. Premium pay is 4 hours per day plus what you work so triple premium is 12 hours per day plus what you work. So for example a 4 day credited at 22 hours would pay 70 hours if picked up on days off. For me at least, at my pay rate that's over $5000. There are a lot of captains that will make well over $100k this year, myself included. Many F/Os will clear over $60k without bonuses. It's a good time to be at Piedmont.

The reason we have triple premium is because there is so much uncovered flying so you will have plenty of opportunity especially on the jet.
