Where did you hear that? The latest @Piedmont centered around growth said it's as many as we can staff.

That's the number.. basically all the envoy 145s are expected here with the 140s as well... just need to staff em and train em.

Are you worried at all that the 145's will get parked as soon as there is an economic downturn?

Do you think that the 50 seat airplanes will be the first to go?

What is the life expectancy of the 145's?

Aren't they a few years from being sent to the desert anyways?

The scope is about full with 900's and 175's, will there be enough airplanes to keep Piedmont flying?

What is your management saying about this?

I know that you say you will get 175's, but why? They will need to take them away from Envoy to do this.

(I am honestly curious about this. Especially after seeing what is happening to Air Wisconsin, flying small and outdated airplanes seems like it would cause quite a bit of concern)

What's your point? Every time someone answers questions about the 'plan' you pop in with this stuff like you're the first person to think about these things or like the rest of us are too dumb to consider these points as well. Like clock work.

American has shown that it either isn't renewing with non-wholly owned or is doing so reluctantly. They've chopped Rjet's eagle fleet in half and are thumbing their noses at a storied regional that at one time bailed out USair. You can second guess all you want, but the trend is that AA will allow cpa's to expire and then bring them in-house as it happens.
