Yes even a year from now we will still need 125-150 dash CA on the list. By then you should also have the option of holding 145 CA.

By end of next year I think the 175's will totally be in PDT's future. The 145's are just training wheels and believe they aren't going to be around long at all. They got them out of the desert for a reason and that reason is they'll not be at PDT long at all.

I think you are on to something... I decided a few months back to go fly one while I can, learn some Embraer quirks. The sim awaits...

Yes, while it's a big leap in technology the EMB 145's will make a transition to the 175 really really easy. Enjoy!

Sure glad to see that you all like to dream big. Only way PDT will be flying the 175 is if you are merged with envoy.

Oh to be wrong all the time. It must be frustrating...you really think you are getting 130 of them don't you...now don't be greedy.

I really think the 170/175 will eventually make it our way. We can't live in the prop age forever and the 145 isn't the most passenger friendly aircraft. Really, it's just a longer, skinnier 300 with jets on the tail. Ha.

None of the 145's you are getting were pulled out of the desert. There were never any 145's in the desert. 140's and 135's yes. 145's no. I don't know why you keep repeating this.

The 175 is as close to a 145 as a 145 is to a Dash. Probably more dissimilar. They are way more advanced and require much more support. I've seen special power carts show up, much beefier tugs, bigger catering trucks, more bag loaders, huge tow bars and electric tugs, etc. It requires much larger hangars than I believe you have. In fact I will have to take a look around to see what they have put in the hangar for it for special equipment. The cash outlay to launch this has been enormous. I was at Eagle for the transition from ATR's to the EMB. It wasn't nearly as capital intensive as this.
