Okay, I'm considering Piedmont but I have some questions. How does the flow through work? Is five years realistic or is it just a marketing ploy to attract pilots? Is Piedmont's flow through better than Envoy's or PSA's? If a pilot was hired when the flow through was in place and one day, AA terminated the program and the pilot was still at Piedmont, does that pilot still have the opportunity to flow through in the future or is that out the window?
It's a huge ploy. If The company stays the same size then it's about an 8 year flow. If the company shrinks then it will be longer for you to flow. They say five years but only if they can double their pilot group.
(Not counting outside attrition or people who choose not to flow.)
Better than PSAs but not better than Envoy's flow. However there are scenarios where pilots X and Y would have the same start date at PDT and Envoy and they PDT pilot would flow first however my money is on Envoy at this time.
Likely just to be thrown out the window or grandfathered in who knows.

1 person flows for every 125 ish pilots per month when AA hires off the street. (And sometimes when they don't hire off the street if they want to keep up the pretense the flow is working.

Aha now there's some common sense. Even if the protected pilots over there get the flow as advertised, any Envoy new hire is getting roughly 10 percent of the group yearly flow. I think the PP are going to eat a turd though on this one. Tough luck really.

Crystal ball readers at it again. If you are going to make a prediction please at least let it be logical.
Envoy and PDT will have the same flow but that won't happen for a long time. (5-7 years) Contractually after all pilots flow who were here for the signing of the TA in Dec 2014. Once those guys flow then we will have pretty much identical flows.

Simple math wins. The PP will still lag behind PDT flows in terms of hire year and movement. We could be reaching 2011 hires by the end of next year. That's my year baby.

It is common sense yes. However if you put out something at makes sense in the envoy thread, all the pro company guys get upset. No one can mess with their flow. Unfortunately after the 824, it will happen.
