Strange. I had no trouble with the crew lane for customs at YYZ without a uniform. Wore slacks/polo and kept repeating 'Sorry, eh!'.

That's someone with previous 121 time. How long will it take someone who hasn't flown at an airline to get the required 1000 hours 121 time?

Plan on flying 80 to 90 hours a month. Plan on follow. Well that's tough to say.. the more pilots we get the faster we flow. Also we have a lot of attrition and people are moving to bigger and better things. So an estimate cant be given but with our movement right now get it or watch from the sidelines.

Just curious how the 145 is awarded, bid in training I would assume? How is seniority in a class assigned, birthdate? How would the commute be working for PDT from Eastern NC with 3 airports that have PDT service within 45 min or less, ILM/OAJ/EWN?

What's the bonus catch/payout schedule/payback requirement?

Thanks in advance.

I was told that the hiring is just barely keeping up with attrition. How do you expect to increase flow if the size of the pilot group is staying the same.

People ask this same question about Envoy which is NOT keeping up with attrition and yet the upgrade and flow projections there remain unchanged.

currently 145 FO is about 10 months to hold and dropping every month. Seniority in class is birthday. If you commute on PDT aircraft you have Jumpseat priority. No catch on the bonus, you get it in your first year, I THINK most on your first day of class (not exactly sure). If you quit you keep the bonus no payback.
