Well that could be a good thing if true. Sucks for those based or work there but to grow the airline they gotta get leave the little airline mentality.

Sucked when EWN/CHO closed, but they gotta move from the small outstation base to Hub bases.

Hopefully they'll open a DCA base sometime soon.

Yes!!! I'm picking Salisbury for now, but DCA is a quick metro ride for me! Let's hope it happens.

I've heard some base restructuring for PDT and PSA come 2018... We shall see.

With the parking of the dash 8's in the future will the instant upgrades exist for those with prior 121 time?

Considering that we are adding 145's faster than we are parking dash's, I'd guess that we will still need quick upgrades. But, you never expect a gravy train to run forever.

Also expect additional 145's as the program matures. LH has said on more than one occasion that we will get as many as we can possibly handle.

I've been wondering about this. Do you think its safe to assume we will replace timed out turboprops with jets at a 1:1 rate?

I would say it wouldn't be 1:1. They want to grow the airline, so if everything goes as planned we'll have more 145's than dashes. Now whether they can actually successfully grow the airline is a completely different question...
