However you're right. American and Piedmont is going to have to pony up more money to get recruits.

Piedmont won't make it to 40 at the current rate. Remember these are high time worn out ERJ's that Eagle had parked in the Desert for a reason. They were the worst of the worst. Piedmont is still having recruiting issues and training seems to get to backed up with they do get a bunch into the mix. I've always stated they don't have the infrastructure for explosive growth. AA will have to drop more dimes into Piedmont if they want to see a positive outcome.
Piedmont is cx'ing ERJ flights at an alarming rate also and I don't think AA will put up with that too much longer without making big changes.

There were never any 145's in the desert. The aircraft you are getting have been flying the line right up until it went into MTX to head to you. Arguably those aircraft are in better shape than the ones we are flying because they just got out of heavy check.
Envoy has had days with zero cxls recently, MTX or otherwise. The EMB is a very basic aircraft. I don't know what the hang up is.
I am hearing now that the deliveries will be slowing. It might give you guys time to catch up.

These are numbers that upper management knows and realizes. That's why piedmont survived. I believe there is a huge debate in American about the customer service experience of the dash. Yet most of our flights are 150-200 gallons of jet-a.
I have a feeling the ads-b mandate is going to have some wiggle room. 100s of airframes aren't going to stop running 121 service.

I'm curious about this as well. I've non-revved in back now a handful of times during gaps in training, and while it's a small sample size, I've found the flight crews and FAs to all provide good 'customer service' in my opinion, however, the physical state of the cabin interiors...that is a whole different ball of wax right there. If some of these birds are going to continue to fly, hopefully some sort of solution can be found to alleviate this. I imagine a full cabin refit would be out of the question, so I really don't know what can be done.
