its getting lean out there folks... delta just dropped their 1000 tpic requirement...
I don't think delta had a 1,000 TPIC requirement. I had a fried get hired with all SIC time about a year ago. WN is the only one with a hard TPIC requirement and it's rumored to change soon. Or so I hope.

Any new routes in PDT's future with the new jets coming? I feel like most of the routes they fly aren't suitable for an RJ. I've been hearing that they may be taking some of AWAC's flying soon.

You mean PHL-MDT isn't a profitable jet route?

It looks like expansion is happening...albeit slowly. I think we start going to FWA next month. It's not exactly Paris, but it's something different.

I see we have been doing PWM lately as well. Many of our current PHL destinations can be done with the 145 profitably. Yes, even ABE 😊

PHL-MSY, MYR, and DTW are coming up from what I've heard. PWM just started and FWA starts end of May.

It's all shuffling between the Express, er sorry, Eagle carriers. We (AWAC) have picked up a bunch of PWM stuff that RAH was flying... last time I overnighted there until this month, the Starbucks in the hotel parking lot didn't exist.

There are a lot of routes that collectively we do that don't make sense with an RJ of either Canadian or Brazilian flavor... PHL-ABE, UNV, EWR, MDT, etc... and CLT-any Carolina-ville. But, we do 'em... cuz the common folk don't like propellers.

Maybe we should put shrouds over the props and play jet noises on loud speakers to make them think it is a jet?! I do remember distinctly several people walking out to the Saab, look at the plane and make a 180 back inside!
