...............Anyway....................
New hire bonus up to $15k if you have prior 121 time just announced.
"Piedmont Airlines Announces up to $15,000 in Incentives for Pilots
SALISBURY, Maryland - Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Airlines Group Inc., is announcing $15,000 in bonuses for new hire pilots. The new incentive adds up to $10,000 in cash for pilots who have current Part 121 hours on top of a $5,000 signing bonus.
“Two factors are at work here,” said Lyle Hogg, Piedmont Airlines president. “We are one of the few regional airlines that is expanding, so we need to have a reliable flow of pilots coming in to staff our growing fleet. Second, pilots who come to Piedmont will only be here for a short period of time before they move over to fly for our parent company, American Airlines. We want to make sure we are attracting the best pilots so we can send the best pilots to American.”
All pilots hired at Piedmont receive a $5,000 signing bonus. Pilots with current scheduled air carrier experience will now receive an additional $10 for every Part 121 hour, up to $10,000. Piedmont’s benefit package also includes a generous commuter policy, excellent, low cost family health insurance, $1,000 pilot referral opportunities and industry-leading flight benefits on American Airlines.
“Piedmont has a great story to tell,” said Hogg. “Pilots here gain critical East Coast flying experience, upgrade quickly to captain and then move seamlessly over to American Airlines to fly for the largest airline in the world. If you are selected to fly for Piedmont, you have a very exciting, very lucrative career ahead.”"
Great for new guys with prior 121 time.
BUT.... no retention bonus like Envoy?

What if it's been 8 years since I logged 121 time? Does my time still count? Trying to read into the "current" portion of the offer. How is it paid? Some places like Silver offer 12K, but you don't get the last part until after 3 years?!? Odd.... I have 2600 hours, but like I said, last 121 flight was 8 years ago. Lost my medical for a bit...
