It's not, as long as you can afford the pay cut, I promise.

I didn't think so.

No kids, no mortgage, and luckily I can continue as a consultant on the side to supplement the income.

Anyone out there with a copy of a schedule and bid packet willing to pass it along?

Thanks!

The easiest way to get a picture of a schedule, take a calendar, circle 11 days in the month you would like to have off, then plan on working 8 of those days since scheduling won't look at your request and commuting on front and back end. So the end result is 11 random days off in blocks of two or three of your lucky!!! Lots of overnights in places that end with "burg" and "ville" and that should paint a pretty clear picture!!! Must love to do this if you want to keep your sanity!!!

There was talk of PHL based guys getting 13-15 days off a month due to the nature of the flying out of a hub vs outstation basing where you get 11. Has that panned out to be reality or still a fantasy?

It has this month, few 12 days off but most are 13/14 days. Rather this continue or not only time will tell.

Hahaha! No sanity left in this shell of a man to be lost. Again, beats one day off a week worrying about whether enough paper work was done in the previous six. I can't wait to get on the line and remind ya'll how good ya'll have it compared to the rest of the world with real jobs....

I know your feeling, had a desk job before my pdt career. This job is lot easier compared to my previous few jobs, the fact I don't bring any work home is worth it already.

Welcome aboard, when do you start class? You might get lucky and have the summer off the way sims are backed up. I've enjoyed my 2.5 months off, back to work this weekend. Good time to come on here!!!
