Thanks for all the answers.

Does anyone care to share what are reserve rules like @ PDT?

I doubt you would see it unless you were coming out of training in the middle of a month or something. I need to find a copy of the contract myself. Not sure where we have that stashed...

I'd try to upgrade ASAP (previous 121), which means I'd probably sit on reserve for a while as a CA, so reserve rules are important to me.

On top of sharing reserve rules, can someone tell me the date of hire of the most Jr. CA holding a line at different bases so I can have an idea of how long will I sit on reserve?

Well the emb145 is in the air.. Let the craziness begin..

https://flightaware.com/live/flight/...800Z/KSBY/KRIC

Reserve.. Your on call from 0500 to 1900. 75 min short call.. I did reserve 3 months out of Harrisburg.. Of those 3 months I was short called once at 5 am for a ferry. I sat only 5 days and was usually assigned a trip the day before. The more you work with the schedulers he more they work for you. If you want to work... You'll work..

I always did over 100 credit hours. If your trip is extended it 2.5 hour or 3.5 hours. Plus junior man.. And other negotiations.

FO movement will be fast with all he upgrade and equipment changes. I've been swapping bases monthly, because that's what I like to and I am always surprised by the line I can hold.

The phl dash lines are awesome for feb. the mdt lines have improved, but I saw the sby lines go in he crapper for some reason.

I hope our two street captains make it through training unscathed. It will be an interesting experiment.

i don't know if i'd say that
if its not an all early line, then there's very little in the way of line purity

sure there's more days off than last month, but the trips are more jumbled up (early trips mixed with late trips because you know, fatigue isn't an issue)

unlike with other bid packages, you can't count on the trip number as an indication of which side of the clock it is because its only based on the report time of the first day

I saw it, but my question is a different one:

What is the DOH of the most Jr. CA HOLDING A LINE at different bases?

We didn't but these folks are immediately eligible for upgrade after SOE as a FO. This is due to their total hours and previous 121 time.
