Hate to burst anyone's bubble but RAH owns their planes and its not possible for them to lease them to envoy or anyone in the the United States that flys regionally. It would be a huge contract brech and the teamsters would sue and win. If any flying is moved around RAH pilots have to be flying the planes. It's not even a possibility. Everyone seems very anxious to get 170s. Who cares? Piedmont is growing and that's good enough. There is a lot of guys going to PDT that already have 170/190 PIC Types including myself. I have talked to more than a few already. Realistically it will take a long time for that to happen. I don't really see it happening at all. If it does its years down the road. We are just barely getting by in training without long waits as it is. I am excited about being a pilot here. But it's not because of the possibility of ever flying the 175 again. Trust me fellas. There are much worse things to be worried about than if we will ever see 170s. This is already the place to be without them!

Well there's a change in there new contract and if you go Chp.11 all beats are off.

That being said I agree. I don't care if we ever even see a 145. Our future is secure and everyone on our property will all have jobs and that's all that matters, definitely not what we or they are flying.

Not knocking you or your experience... But have you ever been through a ch 11? Those planes can be transferred under the guise of all kinds of creative things. And they will be.

Enjoy the ride here

Yeah to Envoy, why would AAG spend the money getting another 175 program up and running?

Ok Ill bite. Just what are you reading under the successorship and mergers portion of this TA that leads you to believe that RAH aircraft are headed to PDT? Please provide a specific answer.

Probably for the same reason they are paying for another 145 program when they already have one.
