PDT will be merged with Envoy within 5 years in order to keep the 175s flying. By that point all the Dash 8s will be parked, all the 140s will be parked, and most if not all the AAG 145s and 200s will be parked. Envoy/PDT will fly 175s, PSA will fly the 700 and 900s.

If I were at a contract carrier that only operated 50 seaters I'd probably be just a bit worried about my future.

Piedmont is only getting 145's to start up a Jet Certificate. AAG wasn't going to pump money into something that would only operate a few years. Remember it's a small 34 Turbo Prop Aircraft operator that's about to double in size. They will be getting 175's also.

But I agree there could be a merger in the future.
Many of us however won't be at either airline to see it happen.
