So, reading that article, on other thread, is still PDT a good move or company to go to?

PDT will be merged with Envoy within 5 years in order to keep the 175s flying. By that point all the Dash 8s will be parked, all the 140s will be parked, and most if not all the AAG 145s and 200s will be parked. Envoy/PDT will fly 175s, PSA will fly the 700 and 900s.

Piedmont is only getting 145's to start up a Jet Certificate. AAG wasn't going to pump money into something that would only operate a few years. Remember it's a small 34 Turbo Prop Aircraft operator that's about to double in size. They will be getting 175's also.

If I were at a contract carrier that only operated 50 seaters I'd probably be just a bit worried about my future.

All the options are guaranteed to go to Envoy per there contract. Only way you get 175s is a merger.

Yes, but remember there's a few Contract carriers that might be losing planes. AAG is positioning itself to be ready I believe.

But I agree there could be a merger in the future.

Many of us however won't be at either airline to see it happen.
