Remember AWAC's contract wasn't extended so AAG is more then likely giving us back most of there routes as AWAC has just over 2 years left on the contract with American.
Thanks, good news for PDT!!!

Remember that AWAC's owners are pretty much over the whole thing anyways. Yes the money isnt quite as good. But flow is something that is a step up and the contract at PDT is very fair for a regional. Although we would all like to see more money PSA kinda dropped everybodys stand for that.

Sadly you're correct and this has happened since the day I walked on the property at Piedmont. We watched much of our flying go to many lower paid Contract Carriers over the years. Sadly AWAC isn't one of them however AAG see's there cost as being too high.

Hopefully they will find a cost structure that will be suitable for another code share partner.

Except that pilot groups are still accepting non-concessionary contracts despite PSA's vote. And the logic of PDT pilots applies to the 500 some PSA pilots who voted on that TA. They traded a couple bucks for some gains in other areas of the contract and for continuous growth and upgrades for a few years. You can say what you want, but I think the fact that most of those original PSA pilots who voted are now at mainline or greener pastures elsewhere should indicate that they made the right choice.

Want to blame someone??? Blame ALPA!! They sit back and let this crap happen! I lost respect for ALPA when they allowed PDT,ALG and PSA to get played by management. Was a absolute joke!!!
