Would any body be willing to share what their schedule might be like? In terms of, do you get any 3-4 day blocks of time off? How many days do you typically work in a row? I understand the bidding process and line holding, just curious how PDT's actual pilots live an average month. As well as what their prediction for a new hire's would be as well?
The normal reserve schedules are whatever you bid for. mostly 4-5 days with 2 days off if you're local, or you can modify to 5 on 3 off if you commute. That is besides your 4 golden days, when they're not allowed to call you to work on days off.
Lines come around as soon as there's enough people behind you available to hold reserve, simple as that. Bases like ROA/MDT have more movement since their pilot rosters are larger.
There are about 35 guys in the training pipeline right now some from Jan/Feb classes, some from March-April just starting sims. Should take about 3 months from Ground school to finishing SOE. Each Training event (Ground/Sim/SOE) takes about 3 weeks and you can expect 1 week off between each of them.

Level D it might.. When I went through at Piedmont I did all my training in the actual airplane and the sim back then was a level C. There might be something different between the two types.

Are all new hires get assigned to the E145 training? After talking to a recruiter over the phone, I received an email in preparation for an interview. One of the attachments was Piedmont brochure saying that the training will be done in Charlotte for the E145s.
Im trying to make a sense out of it. Maybe training us on the dash only to fly for a few yearstill the dashes fades out and retrain us on the jet would cost more than assigning new hires to the Jets and pay 75/month till the jets come?
Or
The brochure is for hires in the later 2015 and doesn't apply to me?

It counts, up to 100 hours can be used towards the 1500. Basically if you can get to about 1450, you will be fine.
