The current upgrade math is 8 per month, more like 4 years..
Right now there's about 2 month's worth of 07-08 upgrades, then we go into 2011 hires and will be down to 2012 all done by the end of the year.

As for 175's I don't know if they will be coming to PDT or not. I think Envoy will eventually be only operating them.
Honestly with how the industry is going I'd stay away from any airline with a 4 year plus upgrade. There are a ton of retirements over the next 5-8 years and you'll want to be part of that. 2 year upgrade would be perfect. Find that and upgrade... Then 2 years of PIC. You'll be way ahead of the game then going somewhere with a 4 year plus upgrade time.

Once the 145 program is stabilized, I don't think it is out of the question at all...a lot of it has to do with FAA oversight. Right now we are just focused on the transition to jet aircraft, which will open the doors of possibility. I do wish people would stop trying to pee in our Cheerios though.

I welcome any negativity towards PDT. In my opinion we've done a total 180 degree turn. Like I said a year ago I'd steer my worst enemy away from this place. But today is a different story and each new FO I fly with all I can say is, "boy you came here just at the right time."
If we fix our schedules I could honestly say this would be one of the better or best places to come. But until that happens I just can't! Our schedules are horrible. Just plane horrible!! Fix that and we are the BOMB!!!
