PDT News and Rumors

LOA hasn't been signed but they are flowing people. Hiring has picked up but no news on Planes. I'm thinking PDT will merge with PSA or Envoy here in the future.

I agree with what your saying but I wouldn't consider anyone working under the wholly-owned level an executive including the guy running the company. The executives were in tempe and now dallas. The piedmont and PSA management just run a day-by-day, month-to-month operation. AAG executives are the only ones that look at whats going on beyond the next month or two, in my opinion that is.

Leaves PDT probably with Dash 8's and the same contract with no changes. However a more aggressive flow thru. Piedmont can't fly anything but Dash's..... It's what there good at.

Interviewed and offered either a November or January class. Was told the 145s would start to show up on property next summer and it was never actually said but I inferred from the interviewer's response that Piedmont likely won't be getting 175's. Flow already underway. He said the rumors of a merger are totally unfounded. Overall the pay/benefits and contract aren't bad when compared to the other regionals. Close to $29 p/hour first year with a 75 hour p/month guarantee. Paid during training (including 50% of your per diem rate) and single occupancy. $5000 signing bonus. $3000 paid at the end of your IOE and the other $2000 paid at the end of your first year. No training contract.
