No they weren't. We had the #10 guy in the company a 1980 hire take the flow. I think it got down to #24 in the company with the first 3. 2 of the guys don't even commute, so I'm scratching my head on that. I think they took it anticipating $68/hr first year pay (Delta pay parity) early next year. If I was in the top 50 I'd seriously think about staying, I mean you're giving up 4 slots of vacation, a ton of seniority and QOL for the first few years, and one big spike in oil prices or a terrorist attack and you're on the street. Seems a little risky but whatever, to each their own.

Who knows if we are or not. Word is we are, but I wouldn't come here on just a possibility. What I've heard from both our management and our union leadership is that the consultants hired to add jets to the operating certificate and our President made a joint presentation to AAG management last week in Dallas. They expect a decision on final fleet numbers and an announcement by the end of the month. Stay tuned... or don't, I don't really care either way

My understanding is the consultants were hired to figure out what would be required to add jets to the operating certificate. They started working on this before the vote was even done on the LOA. They didn't have this all figured out, jets were not guaranteed in the LOA and AAG was still at the table with Envoy when this was TA'd. We were plan B, Envoy was always plan A. It sounds like they are about to execute plan B.

Even more, I was under the impression the Mechanics union, and Flight attendant union had to accept capped contractual rates also before jets would arrive. Am I misinformed?

Amended CBAs for Mechanics and FAs are only required for E-175s according to the LOA. I believe they are preping for a 50 seat jet (e-145s) right now.
