Ah yes first year mainline pay. No pain, no gain, but you'll make it up next year. I really don't care about what plane we get or where we merge. Personally, I was hoping for the Q400 before all this mess, so I would just have to do differences training. I guess that ship has sailed...

Yup, just the opinions of one guy that doesn't have a vote and really, probably shouldn't care since I'm not directly impacted.
But that attitude is pervasive and, in this guy's opinion, symptomatic of pilots who love to complain about their union without themselves (as individuals and a group) having a shred of unity.
Having been involved in the industry since 9/11, it kind of blows my mind that pilots seemingly haven't learned ANYTHING from their shared experiences...experiences that are rationalized away as a unique one-off deal, when the reality is they have been repeated time.and time.and time again in the last 13 years.
Sadly, perhaps that shouldn't surprise me. The names/airlines change, but the story remains the same as really, PILOTS never change.

Ooh Ooh a PSA merger? Is that your worst case scenario?

Maybe the 20 EMB 190's

Their LOA19 TA says 76 seat jets. Reading comprehension.... Remember. Eagle 700s have 63 and 65 seats. PSA 700s have 67. PSA 90s have 76, but they'll all be in about 6 months. Sure AAG could send the 900s to Piedmont or Mesa, but they've spent a lot of money into commonizing parts and the 3 types of 700s, the PSA 900s, and the PSA 200s.
See JohnGardner at it again. Just full of it.

Agreed, but if it came to it, I'd fight a civil war with you vs an apocalypse merging with Envoy. I have good friends at both, but seeing some of the Envoy attitudes on here makes me want to buy one of those underground fallout shelters and just chill awhile...

Last I read it stated EJets or a jet with 60 to 76 seats.
EJets come if ither workgroups give concessions that management deems suitable.
This TA gives management options on placing A/C and how to achieve the concessions out if the PDT pilot group. Management is looking for options and this is what they TA allows them.
For the PDT pilots it gives them a seniority based flow and that they won't be shrunk below 20 airframes. PDT could still go bye bye as the dashes are parked in the future. Here is a guarantee of 20 airplanes with concessions but if they want to shrink the airline below that number they just have to snap back the concessions.
Not saying that AAG will do anything like this, just that they have options and there isn't really a penalty for them under this TA.
