Not at all! I just call 'em the way I see 'em. RJPilot has been an anchor on our group for years.

If that was truly the case, then why would management even care about caps at 4 years for fo's and 12 for captains? It wouldn't make a difference in their crew costs, so why bother? What would be the point??
Unless.... They're lying through their teeth for a change?!

You have to remember that there is never going to be a contract that satisfies everyone. Never has been never will be.

Because then some people would stay and make a career at a regional. They don't want that so they cap the pay, which motivates people to move on.

You're saying that even with the great flow they're offering, they're still so worried that people would rather stay at the regional, that they have to make things even less desirable there to get them to go?
A flow that is so great that no one would ever be there longer than 4 years as an fo? Still seems to me that if the flow offer was as great as claimed(look how well Eagle/Envoys has worked), then there would be no need for any caps?.
I mean really??
A few guys that stuck around for pay over the cap would bankrupt a multi-billion dollar operation?

But why do you think they are vying for this so desperately at all of their regionals? They want this 12/4 so badly that they would rather contract flying to outsiders (compass) at a loss than agree to anything else with us.

Why do you think that is?

Ok, I apologize for my error. It does seem like they conveniently omitted that fact from the bullet points.

The way you do it is by voting no first. If what happened at xjt, rah, and envoy happens there, the MEC will seek to gain what it is the pilot group actually want. That's when everyone tells them that they will not accept anything but a three way deal in which, at the very least, all three airlines are treated equally. The best way to assure that is by having One List One Flow.

Thank Gawd! I mean I've never heard of an airline parking planes after they painted them. Have you??
