Airplanes need to be painted for many reasons, such as corrosion. There are still 4 (now 3) -300s in the old navy US paint scheme that are in pretty sad shape, and needed to be painted anyway. They painted some last fall, and started up again this year after the flying slowed down. Nothing to see here.

Just spoke with a friend in the training department at PDT and this guy is complete hogwash.

Jerry Glass needs this to pass badly. Plenty of plants trolling on here I am sure.

Its not what I am hearing, You could be getting triple 777 and it would not make a difference as long as you have the same people running your training department.
