Flow is there for the more senior pilots and it still will be necessary for them if they want to get hired a at a major in the future as silly as that sounds, which a lot of them do but they had been considered by airways too old above age 35 and they wouldn't hire them. Commutair got a 4 dollar raise which is still a worse contract than Piedmont so your point is moot. I'm not advocating this deal but you fail to make any legitimate points just throwing stuff out there that sounds legit. Keep in mind this deal is a 5 dollar pay raise for first officers and 10-15 dollars for captains, they didn't offer dash rates to fly these things but noone outside of pdt on this forum has actually read the thing they're just pumping garbage based on what the think is going on, I hated this deal when I first glanced at it but it's really not bad, except the 12/4 but those are still higher than the highest captain rate pdt currently has.

Everyone says go to Skywest or Compass. Really? Our new Contract is right in line with them. What's the point?? Do we think it's not a great deal? Of course we don't but we are in survival mode with our ****ty aging 25 year old fleet that still uses KNS-660's and VORS.

Republic would VOTE this deal in by 90% if they were giving it. Our contract is still better then most and our insurance even if it double is better then most peoples.

It will pass....... Done deal. I'll be voting a BIG FAT "YES" for it.

I'm with you, as are many others. Sure there are aspects we don't like, but overall this is a better gamble for survival. The changes only come if we see some new aircraft. So, if it's a bluff, it's status quo for us. The flow will still be good for a number of our folks and they will have to keep at least 20 aircraft around so there will be flying for years to come. If stagnation rules the day, it's not like we can't apply to another major or LCC, as the need will be there. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

I wish the Envoy pilots had been as pragmatic and intelligent as the PDT guys seem to be when our vote came around.

Yawn! If you think everything is just based on Pay scale alone.
