Jesus Christ you're completely clueless, and yet so sure of yourself. Pay attention very closely: blended rate means we have a rates for the 200, rates for the 700, and rates for the 900. As the ration of airplanes changes our pay moves towards the scale of given airframe. You see as 30 900s show our rate will move towards the 900 pay scala (that's up in case you can't figure this out still). So you see the rates we have right now is actually closer to out 200 rates since there's a 35 to 14 ratio ( we only have 14 700s). If we got just 5 more 700s tomorrow our pay would move towards the 700 rate and go up. You see its a ratio.

As the E175 come in remove the Dash from the system. By 2016/17 no more CRJ 200 for PSA and no more Dash 8 no more Piedmont.
How about just one list all three regionals and call it a day?

Actually, at a state of the airline like a year ago, Kirby did say the 50 seaters are, in fact, dirt cheap to lease. Makes sense; they are ubiquitous and aren't very fuel efficient. That lower lease cost probably takes some of the sting out of the higher fuel bill.

I doubt you'll see the reduction in 50 seaters come from PSA...more likely Air Wis and since they already said so, Envoy.

What do we think is gonna happen at our meeting with AAG next week?
Is that the fleet planning meeting?

AAG wants us to fight each other, they think that one will stab the other two in the back to keep their costs low. Unfortunately to this point they've been correct.

Which is precisely why all three pilot groups should demand it!

Default PDT Future

The next two days will determine PDT's fate. If AAG does not try to re fleet PDT, it's all over boys and girls. Walk away, run away, fly away, swim away. PDT is very poorly manage and will continue to be as long as current management is in place. 25 years ago is not how you run an airline today. Someone or many need to be remove from their command.

They are going to try. It allows them to tell Eagle/Envoy "We told you so."

AAG management has already shown themselves to be inept and are going to have to pay a higher price for feed just to be able to say I told you so.

But that is the game we are in.

They should just do talk to PSA some more. I'm sure they have something left to give up.

It won't be over. They need your warm blooded bodies in cockpits. Since EVERY regional is having severe staffing / hiring issues, they know they can't afford to just dump you into the streets. Of course, they wouldn't want you to know that. Think merger with Envoy, if you PDT alone isn't re fleeted. I believe that the ALPA merger laws would require the Envoy current contract and pay scale, if / when that happens. Of course, there will be more threats and attempts at whipsawing along the way, but I think there is a bigger ultimate picture that will play out, no matter how any of AAG's wholly owned's votes.

According to the whipsaw the meeting was about re-fleeting. More discussions going on today.
