You guys need to knock off the "my regional is better than your regional" crap and start working together. Opportunities like this shortage are a once in a lifetime opportunity to completely restructure the industry. Don't waste it squabling over petty crap and ridiculous ego thumping.

I think some problems could arise with a select few of our captains egos getting in the way, but certainly not ability to fly the airplane.

From the opinion of someone who has flown both the Dash and a Jet. The Jet is far easier to learn systems wise and easier to fly.

Unfortunately this was the case. It was not Airways exactly, but it was the outside company that was hired to whittle down the applicants prior to any internal Airways personnel taking a look.

So said company would eliminate all applicants that had not been typed in something in the last five years, along with a few other things. then the remaining would go to Airways people who would sift through and send out interview offers.

My understanding is the training requirement has been removed for the reasons you stated.

Man man man! What's going on? I just woke up from a coma. The world has change so much in just a couple of months. A missing 777, Obamacares, Ukraine is now Part of Russia, Blood moon event occurred, PDT getting E175, PSA pilots are still trying to figure it out.. Man, I need jump on my bike again and try to break the speed of sound and go back in time.. All this events are confusing, maybe if I keep the helmet off.... I will fly the E175 At 8 year captain pay rate of 100 billion dollars, 12 days of minimum, no increase in my obamacare premiums and HUB bases. Parker can keep his preferential Interview or Flow through deal for concession and put it on his fail tactic box next to his RUM. Remove farrow from his command. Viva Mexico... And to all those idiots that believe PDT will bend over for jets well your idiots so why explain....Viva Brazil
