The Company has realized the need for hub domiciles, otherwise they wouldn't be meeting with us.

My Crystal Ball is broke down and I certainly don't pretend to see the future but I think that, IMHO, any notion of E-Jets coming to PDT in any way shape or form is highly unlikely. Airways and American, presently and post-merger are too heavily invested in FFD carriers running their already established, not to mention fairly well run E-Jet programs. Any new E-Jet airframes will go to RAH first, Mesa second.

From my point of view looking at operational and cost issues it makes no sense to refleet PDT with jets. Under the Airways/American merger I'd look for scope relief in the capacity that let's PDT finally run Q400's.

I certainly could be completely wrong. I just hope you guys don't sell the soul of your CBA just for a new powerplant and a bent wing that you'll likely never see.

Blind N.Y. man allegedly kicked off plane over guide dog; passengers exit in solidarity - CBS News

"Piedmont (PI) #4183 ? 13-Nov-2013 ? KPHL - KISP ? FlightAware

After a long delay in Philly, and while taxiing out for departure, flight crew decided to kick off a legally blind man because his dog wouldn't stay under hsi seat.

Aircraft returned to gate and where met by security - when the 35 other passengers realized what was happening - all of them - walked off the flight in disgust.

All 36 passengers and dog - boarded a bus together and returned to Long Island."

From other thread but I thought it belonged here.

They all walked off the flight bc it was cx'd. Awful story for many many reasons.

Passengers side with blind man against flight attendant | Travel - WTAE Home

sounds like this guy wasn't exactly innocent (verbally abusive)

i'd add the agent dropped the ball initially for booking him in one of the seats that doesn't have a place for the dog to go

contrary to the implication of the article title, just because they all sided against the fa doesn't mean they were right and she was wrong.

Well u guys are going to love this. I had an interview the PDT and had to cancel it do to a time conflict. I called them back and left a message saying that I would still love to interview with you guys, please give me a call to dicuess dates that would be of option. That was the last contact made until today when I get an email saying that my flight has been booked for such and such a date and can't wait to see you for the interview. So I guess PDT knows my personal life better than I do and just chooses interview dates for their applicants hahah. Mabe a screw up in the line of communication so i will just run with it.

So my next question is centered around quality of life. Ok so the morale sucks, training is hard of corse but half way decent. WHAT ARE THE JUNIOR BASES? I and my gf were going to move to Morgantown WV for her job. What would the easiest base be to commute to Morgantown wv, Pittsburgh pa or erie pa.? O and how long can i plan on reserve lasting?

i think all the bases are taking people at one time or another

not sure where you're getting pit/eri from
we dont go to pit at all, and eri is just an RON
the bases are mdt, cho, roa, sby, ewn

dont bother trying to fly out of pit, its flooded with mainline commuters
everything is going to be two leg commute from any of those places (dont even think there's any 121 flying out of morgantown)
