Update??? Basically, NOTHING is changing, going to change and to "Stay Calm and be a mushroom" Let me also add that I don't place any blame on our MEC. They are going down the same creek without a paddle that the rest of us are, but I think it is absolutely ludicrous for anyone to think that Piedmont is going to re-fleet, going to merge with PSA, etc...I think if USAir Group had it's druthers they would get rid of BOTH wholly-owned carriers. Why would they place the 175s on Mesa's property? They are the CHEAPEST! I further believe that they are hopeful that the PSA TA will NOT pass. More ammo to take to the BoD to get rid them...It defies good business sense to place the airplanes on PSA's property (and PDT's for that matter) when you can put the contracts up for the lowest bidder...(after all Mesa is the top Regional the last 3 years <sarcasm>).

What's the latest at Piedmont? Are they finding applicants?
I saw an add on the orange site saying "After 12 months of service, pilots will be considered for a position with US Airwys....bla bla bla "
What does this mean? Is this true? :-)
I am a newbie with the StpS (Shiney turbo prop Syndrome)... so easy

its not true, we have a 'preferred' interview program and a supposed quota on how many in each class is 'supposed' to be a pdt pilot, but there's enough loopholes and clauses in the ****ty language that the numbers are essentially meaningless.
it is not, nor has it ever been anything remotely close to a 'flowthrough' despite what some delusional management types claim

yeah psa has the same deal currently, although they're currently voting on a eating a bag full of dicks in a new TA that only gives them one extra number for the class requirements, but is touted as this huge improvement
