Man, there is arrogance and then there is ARROGANCE...you got a terminal case of both little feller.
Flying was a second career after retiring from Navy then I got hired at a long gone regional flying rickety old Chieftans and was furloughed. I then interviewed at PDT and Allegheny, got hired at both, turned down Piedmont and wound up there anyway but long after it was good airline.
Allegheny WAS the job offer genius. I was trying not to get into the whole Allegheny vs. PDT thing. I left before the fence came down and went to the right seat of a local charter turboprop, owners sold it then I got hired flying charter for more or less the same people. Where is none of your damn business. I never upgraded and never had an ATP (never needed one).
So yeah, maybe I was a little disgruntled that I wound up on the certificate and a lesser contract I chose not to work at. That makes me whatever it is you are accusing me of being why exactly?
The wife got sick of me being around and pleaded for me to get another flying job..I got an offer with Omni which later didn't work out, (thank goodness) and was interested in Atlas though I really didn't want to work at a 121 carrier again so I only half tried..
Now that you have my resume who the hell are you really and why should anyone here listen to a damn thing YOU say?
Assume much lately? Jackass.
All this from the kid that doesn't know what a concessionary contract actually is.

Well, this thread has offically gotten out of hand, and I'm partially to blame. Magpuller and Piedmonster, I wish you the best in your careers. I hope your decision to leave PDT works out for you in the long run. Staying at PDT has seemed to work out for many CAs and FOs who have since moved on vertically to places like US Airways, Atlas, Spirit, JetBlue, other major carriers and even Dynamic and other military contractors.

Scrabola going to PSA was the writing on the wall for that...it's only a guess but I'd say a merger is probably imminent now. They are gonna do to you PDT boys what they did to us... - work on PSA's inferior contract or they'll asset transfer and shut down PDT.
Good luck to all.
