Provide analytical support for planning and development of Piedmont Customer Service division into an efficient, competitive business unit. Assist projects to improve performance of US Airways Express. Role includes cost modeling and forecasting. Provide statistical analysis, KPI development, evaluation of regional wage and other labor costs associated with new bids. Support business planning analysis such as training, staffing, wage compensation, equipment, etc. Support reporting and presentations as required.
If you read the top line you will see that this is for Piedmont Customer Service. This post relates to our ground handling side of operations. The rumor mill says we are looking to expand ground ops out west (California). Piedmont is looking for people to go out and find stations we can run. As far as I know I think there have been several new positions created among the ranks including a new VP spot. Not sure on the exact details, I do however know that this pertains solely to ground and nothing to flight.

915HA through 928HA were removed from service during the bankruptcy/restructuring/merger with ALG era from 2002-2004.
Fleet tail numbers now go from 914HA skipping to 930HA.
Ol' Sparky was an alright bird most of the time. At least she continued the DH8 tradition in North America of getting everybody back on the ground without a single fatality. Now that Colgan lost a DH8, that can't be said anymore.

in the latest 'crew news' on the uswings site, you can login and watch Parker say 'if those leases were up today, we probably would not renew them.' With reference to the 7 additional 100's that are up for renewal in the Fall.
So if we did lose 7 additional planes, that'd be a total of a 20% fleet reduction in 2009 - so if all that happens, I'd expect at least a 20% cut in pilots by year's end. We're already 'fat' on pilots now, so we may even see more than 20% furloughed =/
