gets it. USAirways management will lie and lie and lie just to keep you working for their crappy wholly owned. Meanwhile mainline will be busy hiring their less experienced offspring from non-affiliated regionals. Don't come to PSA/PDT. For the love of sweet Jesus don't do it! The biggest mistake I made was staying as long as I did believing that working for the wholly owned made a difference.

Come to PSA! I think its fine! (mild sarcasm)

...its all personal opinion and attitude. Sorry its sucks so much for you gofish and you were lied to in the interview. sucks. but other places lie too....that's the business.

PS gofish, you said numerous replies ago you were out.....but yet you linger and just crap on your own employer. sorry you haven't gone to mainline yet, another 5 guys went this week.

I think the point is that pdt ans psa are selling the faux thru to attract guys that would nevr go to either. The bettr move is to go to a regional that suits you bettr. If thats psa or pdt then great- just dont go there thinkin that youll be gettin a seniority # at mainline for at least 3-5 years. Sweatin yur ass off in a dash for that long for the outside chance that either wholly-owned will help you leave is foolish. Just sayin.

There is nothing fine about lying to your employees and not honoring your agreements with them.

I left years ago. I lingered in this thread because this airline crapped on me and many other good people and it cannot go without the truth being told. Wow 5 guys really? How long were they held? How much seniority did they lose while Airways hired Comair and Eagle pilots? When is the next batch of 5 going to get their coveted interview that they weren't supposed to even do? So Airways can look at your employee file now even though you don't really work for Airways? or do you? So you do actually work for Airways? If you work for Airways already then where is the seniority number you were promised?

Who are you anyway? The next chief pilot suck up that goes to Spirit because Airways won't hire them?

I thought airways took their fair share of pdt and psa guys. Only downside is that we don't get any favoritism because we're wholly owned. Reality is, PSA/PDT combined is probably 1/3 of eagle or Skywest, etc... For people to complain that they take 10 eagle guys while taking 4 from wholly owned needs to do a little math.

There is plenty to set straight when you consider PSA/PDT pilots were given seniority numbers, there was a website, there was a flow.

Back to your pilot recruitment efforts. It must be hard to get pilots willing to come work for such liars.

I wish all regionals get wiped out. Especially PSA. I complain rationally, some just complaining all the time about everything. And according to the previous few posts, you're not even in pdt anymore. Bet you're a fun one to fly the whole month with

Pdt, Psa, Eagle their days are number. Republic, Skywest will survive. Pinnacle was saved by Delta but at what price. Economics 101, lowest bidder wins.
