Not every, I think Miami and maybe North American pay reverts to year 1 ca rate. Fairly certain all regionals do.

With USairways mainline hiring 25 per month starting in oct, do any Piedmont guys and girls plan on jumping ship?

I think the majority of PDT folks are ready to GTFO at this point.

I think every pdt employee is ready to jump, the problem is to find a slower sinking ship to jump to.

This is probably why they are hiring at 600TT with no multi mins.

Though many feel that way for a lot of us it's not that simple. Many can't afford to take a pay hit for even just 1st year at a Legacy. The top 3rd of our SL are pretty much in this situation. Though it always makes me smile to hear someone I knew got out.

Good luck to everyone, even those I've argued with on here. Things have been tough and are about to get much worse in the coming months.

I spoke with my LEC Chairmen a couple days ago. He gave me a full update. I recommend you call yours as well, voice your concerns and questions.

We expect no further negotiation sessions. PDT mgt. is only offering 1.5 million in funds toward contract improvements outlined in the recent Negot. Comm update. We have asked the NMB to be released into self-help, they are reviewing and will issue a decision in the next few weeks time.

Our union is attempting to open a dialog with Tempe. We are preparing picket events and a number of other activities. The Strike Prep is going into full speed.

There is a lot more going on as well. Stuff is happening over a potential merger as well as addressing the training dept problem.

I still urge all Piedmonsters to call your reps! Give them your feedback and they will give you full updates. Expect a flood of info from the MEC over the next few weeks.

New FIL out about remote parking. Looks like we get crewmeals now if we have a break more than 45 minutes but less than an hour. Mighty nice of them!

Yea, but it says only one person is supposed to leave to go get them. I know a lot of crews that will ignore this, especially with au Bon pain in Philly.
