Does anyone know how bad PDT needs FO's or how long they will be hiring? And is there a trick to getting an interview or do you have to have competitive time or an internal rec? I barely meet their mins.

And I'm sure this question has been asked and answered alot but how long does upgrade generally take at the present time?

Airframe, I have a question and I'm not being sarcastic or rude....

Why Piedmont? Do you live in any of our bases, or is it because it's probably one of the only 121 airlines you can get on with right now?

I'm not even going to say you shouldn't come here, the people are great for the most part, the airplane is fun to fly... But no one in management has given us any hope for a future here. We start losing 'more' planes soon and at the rate airlines are hiring I wouldn't hesitate to say that means furloughs in the future.

I think we have 44 left could be less, and yes they start timing out soon.

I was told that they are no longer interested in the Q400, they don't want a bigger plane. They want 200's and 300's but there are people paying top dollar for them, the guy in SBY said it was the government buying them not sure if that's true.

Keep in mind with the Delta/US Air slot swap thing Piedmont is a good chunk of flying from LGA. Not sure that were getting enough down in DCA to replace that.
