RJ's were a reality too, and the mini mustachioed man even had a training program for them... now only a strike is a reality.

Hey rookie listen to me! Since you're training I'm assuming, focus on studying hard and doing well, pdt is really demanding and 20% of new hire don't make it. Post about things you will not understand on the dash in the upcoming days, and we will help you out.
But don't come up in here talking about out jk is blowing up smoke up your @ss with the 200's and the Q. I'll give you a year and I know you smart and should figure out how things work. Just right now focus on doing well in training, let us know when you need help, and leave all that 200's/Q400 stuff alone. The training department only has wishful thinking when it comes to aircraft we should get.

Reading garbage like this confirms that my decision to quit PDT was the correct course of action. Sorry guys, but as PT Barnum stated, "There's a sucker born every minute". Looks like we've found the most recent one.

Hey LOST,

Just curious where are you now, still in aviation? I'm happy for everyone who gets out of this place.

Dashtrasher- The training dept. know nothing about future aircraft plans. They have no inside info. This type of rumor have been going around for years, maybe even decades. People who are telling you it's smoke are trying to do you a favor. Don't get you're hopes up. We may get new aircraft, but that info won't come from the training dept. I've been charlie brown to lucy on that one enough.

I'm starting to think this guy spreading the rumor isn't new...he's just someone trying to get a rise out of everyone. Never heard JK called a short cordial fellow by a new hire....no no no, this is all wrong! He's one of us!

Have to agree here. When i was in training I just hoped to not see or here anything. The farther away i was the better because then out of sight out of mind

6 of 10 new hires washed out today, thanks to 2 exams written by a lawyer for lawyers, so i heard from one of them. Guess the training dept. still needs some work...

Validates my point that quitting a 65K a yr job is not worth it to chase this retarded dream known as the airlines.

Wow!! "Some" work seems like a stretch. More like a renovation. This seems to be the common theme for the new guys going through PDT training. I heard companies like commutair and xjt are actually helping newbies pass with no problem.
