I understand your point. What you have to realize is that the sub par contract you're working under now was close to industry leading when it was signed. The after-effects of 9/11 neutered a lot of it to boot.

portions were yes (although i would argue that with the stronger language and greater 'soft credits' the alg one was at least as good if not superior)

i was referring to the 300 pay, or rather the lack there of for the fo's
the shoddy reserve language
the preponderance of vague and unenforceable language 'shall' 'best efforts' etc that gives the company carte blanch to do whatever they want

Having a working grievance process would clear up MUCH of the intent behind the bad language as most of the grievances on back log ARE based on the language. That would clear up many MANY issues this current negotiation issues the union is facing. The problem is there are over 200 grievances outstanding.

In the regional world EVERYONE is trying to get some or all of someone else's flying. Beating a dead horse but PDT has no flying, they have mainlines flying but we all know that.

Mesaba or anyone else for that matter would love to get all the flying PDT has and vice versa.

pdt doesn't have any 'mainline' flying, most any 'mainline' flying not done by mainline is sent out to scabyard or mesa...

any express flying should be pdt or psa's flying, imho

that helpful stuff isn't exactly a secret.
there is no information in there that isn't distributed by the company (all the questions come from the cq study guide)
there isn't anything there akin to posting copies of actual tests that would draw the feds attention...
