It is not the Airline's "request" to stop negotiations for 6 months. If the association is put into recess you will be hearing a lot more from your LEC representatives than you have been in the past (good thing) on how we (all of us) will continue. This is one step in the process of dealing with a managment that would rather see us under a 10 year bottom of the barrel contract than with something that may keep pilots here for more than 6 months. If you look beyond PSA, great lakes, and commute air... our contract is the worst in the industry minus our vacation.

More 300s avail from the UK soon.
Do I think we will get them? No. Just saying there are plenty available.
When mgmt says they are looking for 300s, it's like me saying I'm looking for a new porsche, I just haven't found one for the right price.

Jay Keen gave us the propaganda talk this year in training because Johnny B couldn't make it. He said that the going rate for a -300 now is about 3 times what they pay on the leases that we have now. So there's almost zero chance that we'll see any "new" one anytime soon. Call me crazy but I don't think the lease rates are going to get any lower as crude continues it's climb towards $100/barrel.

No and No.... Only way a wholly own gains money is due to the tripple play payouts... Profit sharing is for Mainline only employees and based on their CBA's with the company.

Not true, the wholly owneds do get profit sharing...back when we were making money for a year or two I believe I recieved a check for about $300 bucks or so. It is part of our concessionary contract that we do get a percentage of the pool of money designated for the pilots. As for the contract carriers, they get the big fat 0.
