Who was the last recall (sen #) They haven't updated the seniority list since October.

I'm also wondering if a class of 10 or 12 in Jan will go through the list. I know of at least 4 people who have yet to be called that have moved on to other things.

I don't have a list with me. Last recalled was KM from 3/3/08 class.

Pulled this little gem off AP yesterday. Looks like the writing is on the wall for LGA. Just wish these guys had enough balls to just come out and say it so we could plan accordingly.

Q. So there's a rumor going around that Colgan will be doing LGA flying as well as Trans States out of LGA, while Piedmont will be doing hub flying out of PHL and LGA? How true is this?
A. We do anticipate reducing our LGA flying and replacing it with more PHL flying in the March 2011 time frame. Still a fluid situation, but overall positive for us. We'll update you when things get more definite. Steve

So if they're having a late Jan recall class the calls should be going out this week before the holidays right?

Just announced via email:

Mesaba Airlines to Join US Airways Express
Beginning in March, Mesaba Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pinnacle Airlines Corp., will begin operating as a regional partner for US Airways Express out of New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA). Mesaba will initially serve six locations out of LGA, approximately 48 daily flights in total, for US Airways Express – Charlottesville, Va. (CHO); Manchester N.H.(MHT); Ithaca, N.Y. (ITH); Syracuse, N.Y. (SYR); Providence, R.I. (PVD) and Washington Dulles (IAD) - utilizing six Saab 340 aircraft with seating for 34. Formerly these markets were served by Colgan Air, also a wholly owned subsidiary of Pinnacle. While the subsidiaries of Pinnacle are changing from Colgan to Mesaba for the LGA service, the current level of flying will remain the same. In all, nine regional airlines will operate as US Airways Express, including wholly owned subsidiaries Piedmont and PSA, Air Wisconsin, Chautauqua, Colgan, Mesa, Mesaba, Republic and Trans States. These US Airways Express partners will operate more than 1,800 daily flights to 145 destinations. We look forward to welcoming Mesaba to the US Airways Express team. For more information about Mesaba, visit Mesaba Airlines - Home.

Awesome.

So that's the "overall positive" for us?

Hmmm....

Parker bringing in another turboprop operator sure doesn't look good for us at Piedmont. This pretty much proves they never had any plans on finding some more planes for us.

Why can't they just have Piedmont do the flying?

Oh that's right, because we don't have enough airplanes.. but why is that?

Oh that's right, because we got rid of a bunch last year.

I don't know one FO who isnt looking to get out.

Now the threat of LGA closing.. great, because the emotions and suspense werent high enough.. <barf>
