Yes Spirit will strike at 1201 tonight. Best of luck to them. I wish I could walk the line with them tonight, but alas I'm on call tomorrow at 0400 (boo!)

In the latest email that went out this morning, what was the reference to "initial signs of pilot attrition" about? Where are people going?

I wasn't too happy about the part of summer reving up and jr manning and stuff when there's 45 pilots still furloughed

I have heard of people going/trying to go to Eagle, Compass, Delta, and JetBlue. I know of a couple of people that are waiting on start dates with Eagle and one who has an interview with them next week.

Ok so ASA is bringing back 30 more..maybe we can actually do that too instead of 6-10 every couple months. Why not if we're soooooo short. What's going on up in that chicken coupe.

Eagle's hiring, Mesaba is flowing into mainline Delta, everyone seems to be rebounding quite nicely except for Piedmont. Does any 121 carrier not named Mesa suck as badly as Piedmont right now?

Damn near every person under the age of 40 I've spoken with at PDT over the last month has said they've applied or are going to soon apply to another airline. Everyone is applying to DAL, which im sure is true for pretty much all regional captains.

I think the attrition here is going to be massive over the next 6-12 months which is great news for people close to upgrade and people on furlough wanting to return.

Possibly, but this could be a double edged sword.
