Where does it say LGA is closing in Nov? The swap has not been agreed upon yet. And why AVL? Why not just make CLT a base? Are they planning on having a bunch of airplanes overnight in AVL starting Nov that would justify a crew base?

It's like saying Steve F. resigned due to feeling bad about holding our contract hostage, but he signed our new TA with everything we wanted right before he stepped down.
Oh ya, and before he turned in his company cell phone, he placed a call to Bombardier and ordered 100 C-series and 75 Q's all as part of Piedmont's restructuring plan.

Had a mainline 190 union guy on my jumpseat last month who said that a combined seniority list with mainline/PDT/PSA was a talking point. I can see why MGT at mainline would maybe want it (scope relief) but I can't figure out why the pilot group would be talking about it. There is no way I think this would EVER happen, but I found it interesting.
