Hey guys on the inside, new rumor I have heard is 8 took the recall 8 bypassed. anyone know if there is any truth to that? Also, if you bypass do you go the bottom of the recall list? Military or not. Thanks

Second recall of 10 in March.....10 took it and 4 bypassed
If you bypass, you do not go to the bottom of the list, when there is another recall, they will call those who bypassed and ask them before continuing down the list.

From what I heard only one person has bypassed twice, so there are a total of 4 people that have not accepted a recall. There were 8 in the first class and 10 in the second (18) and the last person called is number 22 on the furlough list. If anyone has any different info, please let me know.

I don't have my contract with me, but I'm pretty sure you can bypass as many times as you want until they reach final round of recalls (aka, a recall is offered to the bottom person on the list). At that point, if you don't take it, you lose your recall rights and they can start hiring again.
Again, don't have the contract with me, but that's how I remember it.

So the people at the top of the list can actually "bypass" many many many times as long as they have not completely gone through the entire list.
That is how I understand it.

Directly from SG:
Everytime there is a round of recalls, they start at the top of the list and work down, not skipping anyone who had bypassed previously. You can continue to bypass as long as you're not the most junior person left on furlough.

got it. So the people at the bottom pretty much will not get a deferral but the people at the top of the furlough list may get several deferrals before they have to make a final decision. I'm not saying it's unfair, it's seniority. Must be great to have a little control over your life. I'm just loving the uncertainty in my life right now.
