I believe that LGA is going to remain open unless the swap is finalized. They never gave a firm date for closing it, so business as usual.

As of right now the company says we will be operating as normal...but then again they did close SYR as a base with something like a weeks notice or less

Nah, they both just need to ***** and moan for a little bit until the DOT drops their "add on clause" about giving a certain amount of the slots away. Plus Airways seems to be in the business of making poor decisions, I am sure there will be another one soon.

None if this has been announced, just rumor. My guess is as good as yours. I'm very confident we're getting something back in LGA. If we are, it must mean that they're pretty sure the swap won't go through, otherwise they wouldn't waste the time and money. If this is true, I would say it's good for all of us, PDT and CJC. We get some back and you guys retain your LGA base and what you had prior to January in addition to what you're picking up out west. Hope to see you guys in the crappy express crew room again! I need a LGA burrito!

Sounds believable. That would be great news if it turns out to be true. Wouldn't quite get to me unless quite a few deferred but I'd be happy for the people that would get it.
