Will there still be Dash spots in the next year? I did read they are going away but it can't be all at once. So, you get hired as an FO, most likely on the jet but can you then bid right away for a Capt slot on the Dash?

Thanks for any info.

I've heard they are taking names for a dash class and they will run one for new hires when they get enough. I wouldn't hold out for that though. Unfortunately, I can't help you about jet FO's bidding Dash captain. I think the company is enforcing the seat lock portion of our CBA at the moment.

Pretty sure this is inaccurate. Unless you can show us that your new hires make more than $57K min guarantee, that is.

This is true. Hopefully not for long... I was in the November class and went to sims two weeks ago. Most of our class is in sims. We had a four week wait, 75hr guarantee paid time off.

The training department is scrambling to keep up with the influx of new hires and candidates. There will be growing pains, but it'll get sorted out. Could be worse.... six to seven month wait for sims at CommutAir (that comes from CommutAir guys out here in sims now). If you want the money and upgrade, with flow in your back pocket as an insurance policy, this is the place to be.

That's why i think the dash will be running a bit longer.. combine that with the reduction in whiskey flying, the summer is going to be crazy.. crazy i tell you.

Is all PDT training conducted in CLT? I know sims will be wherever they can be scheduled I would expect, but as far as everything else, CLT correct?

How are domiciles assigned? Senior to junior based on age, last 4....something of that sort?

Thanks in advance for any info...
