Doug, your point only magnifies the stupidity of the whole situation! Either you are a crew-member or you are not. That should be what matters! NOT a uniform. Its the ID that counts! Its CASS that confirms it all!

So I got an email from our jump seat committee chairperson today informing us of a TSA complaint form that all airline pilots can fill out. It is located at,

jumpseats - by Volare Chronographs

Try it out i guess.

I commute and have commuted out of GFK for over a year. The other day I asked one of the 3 bar TSA lady why I had to have a boarding pass to get through security even though I was in uniform (non reving, not that she knew that) She told me that that is not the TSA policy, but that of Northwest, which apparently can make screening more restrictive???? I guess I believe her?

TSA in ORD tried to pull this same BS on me....telling me it was american airlines that wanted this extra "security".
