Does RAH:
get paid for canceled flights?
Trip/Duty RIGS?
Min day?
how do you like to fly a 5 day trip?
Grievance protection?
decent vacation?
If you knew ANYTHING about a contract, you would know that pay rates are NOT everything! No you did not list my company, but we do have have a 70+ seat rate which is not posted on APC! and is higher than what you posted for RAH! Go back to flying your RJ

Who do you think you are to talk down to our pilot group and tell us what we would vote for? You know nothing of what is being negotiated in our new contract. You know nothing of what is going to come onto property and you have no idea what our pilot group wants.
If you can't pay us, close the doors!
Keep posting tiger.

I can't think of anything more spineless than this. I don't think I could respect someone any less than a guy who posts so cowardly.

Sorry but if your company is tanking hard then something has to give or you'll end up on the street. Are you calling all the pilots out there, all the pilots on here, that took concessions after 9/11 scabs? Go on... I dare you.
I find it funny when people say things like "If you can't pay us what we want then close the doors" then when the Major goes on and does it those same people cry about it here or on FI wondering why "their" flying was taken and given to someone else. It's also entertaining when I can guess where someone works just by how much hate they show in their post lol.
If you have any backbone at all send me your name. If not then sit back, relax, enjoy the ride one of our guys gives you, and keep the mouth shut.... dude.

Well hey, there's a thought. I've been considering what I would do in the event of being furloughed, but being a farmer never occurred to me.
Then again, I've always had trouble coloring within the lines; do you think this means I would also have trouble furrowing in a straight line?

Reasons why you have not heard about a HUGE pay INCREASE:
1. If RW was to get USAirways' 190s in the current 99 seat configuration, there would be no pay increase as planes with 78-99 seats have an established pay scale.
2. If RW got those 190's, but they were reconfigured for more seats (less first class or no first class), the Union would then be required to negotiate a new payscale. Since no negotiations on that subject are underway, there is of course no talk about a higher payscale.
3. RW is currently in contract negotiations. Those negotiations will focus on compensation eventually, but right now other work rules are being hammered out. Until compensation becomes a big factor, you will not hear about a HUGE pay INCREASE.
4. No company gets a new payscale every year, negotiated and corrected to reflect the current industry and wants of the pilots. Doesn't happen anywhere. Contracts are negotiable only after a certain period of time. I am spelling this out for you because you obviously an undereducated idiot. The current contract was negotiated when the 50 seaters still had that new-airplane smell, and the idea that 70+ seat aircraft were soon coming was just a wet dream. In 2003 there was no 70 seat market. All negotiating was hypothetical, and somewhat a waste of time and resources. Now that our working environment has changed, and our contract is ammendable, we can expect to see a positive change in pay. But that takes time. You seem to expect instant gratification. Life is not a Nintendo game.

You don't have to lie to prove a point. A RAH 70/76 seater doesn't pay $77/hr. Only the Airways 175 does, and it has more than 76 seats.
