Also, there are still some DEN pilots being transitioned to Shuttle now, and they will cover the gaps at Shuttle left by the furloughs. The simulators will be busy, mostly because as the 135's leave us rapidly, those pilots (or an equivalent number of CHQ pilots) will have to slide over to Shuttle for the 175 deliveries. There will probably be some displacements from Republic over to Shuttle as well, now that it seems certain our F9 birds will remain at idle. The company will do the right thing and retrain everyone on property, mostly because Embraer is still subsidizing our training costs (those new 175's come with free training for the pilots).
Actually, no one has a clue how its all going to go down.

Okay, hint, hint. Give me a hint. Really, though, crap themselves in a good way or a "Holy Crap Batman call the Union" way?

The union will be pretty okay with it, I think.
It will be good for just about everybody involved.

Sounds enticing...Even the bottom 25 on the list? I assume its lower guarantee/lowering target hours?

You know, not a damn thing this company does surprises me anymore. Not saying I'm not happy with the way the ship's been run. But I just don't understand half of what they choose to do.

I'm glad (if this rumor comes to fruition) it will satisfy everyone involved. Now I'm just dying to know. Wouldn't have anything to do with red-tails would it?

J4J isn't something I'd expect.
