May I suggest you call Jackie B, YOUR JUMPSEAT COORDINATOR AT CHAUTAUQUA, and ask her directly what the eff is going on with this?
I know what's going on I've read the memo. It says we're suppose to deny them jumpseats. Honestly I expect this to fall through very quickly. I just don't like starting something with another pilot group that I have nothing but respect for and have no issues with.

Sorry I'll call fatigue before I watch a guy get kicked over this stupid memo who's just trying to get to work to feed his family and maybe find some time to pray that he's not going to get furloughed. I'm not going to punish him and I hope he doesn't decide to retaliate against me one day.

But you DON'T know what is going on at your own airline in regards to this "memo".

Again, I highly suggest you call Jackie Battipaglia, your jumpseat coordinator at CHQ, to confirm or refute involvement in this thing.

Or, if you prefer, continue to be spooled up over something that will ultimately amount to nothing...

no its not, its brilliant, stop BSing, and take action, you dont like something?????????????????cause a big enough inconvenience and things will change. Its like if we all were allowed to stop going to work for a week, you can bet your life things would change. I for one stand behind these guys, if you want something to chnage, get off your --- and do something about it

You might sing a different tune if you watched the last flight of the night (to your home city) leave with a mainline guy on your airlines' jumpseat.

It has happened to me at an airport where I couldn't get down to the gate to speak with the captain. The uneducated gate agent said that she would not talk to the captain, that the UAL guy took precidence no matter what.

The $60 (on F/O pay) hotel room I bought that night was a nice touch. Hope he enjoyed the ride.

Do you think he even had a clue you were there if you could not get down to talk to the Captain. Pretty lame to blame the UAL pilot.

Pretty lame of the UAL pilot NOT to KNOW that company pilots have priority on their OWN aircraft.

Duck does not know too much. He spouts off at the mouth around here way to often. Our jumpseat committee has spoken in the form of a letter on our website(republicpilots.org). We have been told there is more to this story and to stay tuned.
