Not sure about class dates, but Comair is calling and canceling interviews.

Check the comair interview thread or comair updates both are already discussing the issue. Currently all interviews are cancelled. Those that already interviewed, if hired are in a pool. Those hired with class dates after June 30th will be having them cancelled and will have seniority in the pool based on previous class date.

It's finally over then. I don't think anybody is hiring except for a few random prop airlines and shady pt 135 cargo operators. It's going to be a long couple of years.

Yes and no...
For those already on the bottom at a regional, it's going to be a long couple of years. For those not at a regional yet, you will find something outside of flying that will pay the bills much better than spending years on first officer pay.

I know that's little comfort to some 600-hour guy that just wants to fly jets.

Not much a matter of folks just wanting "fly jets" per se, but more of a matter of folks wanting to fly. It's a little disappointing when one goes out, meet the requirements or tries to meet the requirements, and then it's gone. I know, it's the name of the game but the disappointment is still there. Then again, it could be worst, one could have gotten the job and then poof, it's gone. Wish this to be fast and painless for everyone affected. FWIW, their website still shows they need FO's. Maybe they haven't changed it yet or just maybe this is just temporary. Who knows.

i hate being pulled in two directions...

my brother is an FO there and said he spoke to someone who started training this monday. head dude of training said they are putting through two more classes after that one. that would mean the 30th and 7th are still on. maybe they are just going to have smaller classes to slow things down. then again... maybe they just haven't told everyone in the company everything and its taking time to call everyone. i have yet to get the call. thinking about turning my phone off until july 7th and just showing up

If so, don't sell your house or quit your other job. Good Luck!! I really would like to see you guys on property here. Maybe this is only temporary until things with Freedom and Pinnacle get ironed out one way or the other.
