But I think lots of people here are mistaking those figures to be typical FlyBe pilot wages, which they are not.
Thats why put this is my previous post if you were keeping up;

If by "invoicing PARC" you mean going through PARC aviation, no, they are not going through PARC. FlyBe is using another contract/crew leasing company as it relates to XJT

I hope my airline desides to do something retarted like launch our own branded flying, and then it fails miserably, and I get this opportunity too on the CRJ! Totally worth it---except it will cost about $5 for a glass of milk over there, $15 for a buger, etc. But if I pack my Ebags cooler for 6 months I can save some money on food.

Sorry XJT guys, I don't think you'll see this contract. Flybe was in a tight spot 6 months ago, but no longer. They don't hire anymore and they have a large holding pool of JAA-rated pilots.

Branded flying had nothing to do with it. They just knew that if you want the best trained, most experienced and professional pilots, there is only one place to go to get them...obviously it wasn't who you are working for.

Of course this deal could fall apart but they are already requesting documents from the XJT pilots who were interested.

That may be so, but they are phasing out their 145's. They want pilots that already have a PIC/SIC in the 145 so, they don't have to waste $$$ on training their new pilots. They are all going into the Q400 or 195.

And as Nevets said, they now want our documents. Also, their Flight Program Director stated the time table in his last email.

Why can't you just be supportive of someone getting some decent news...... that's right its a message board. Mesa Sucks, Skywest Sucks, Xjet Sucks ad nausema....

Sorry, you don't know what you're talking about. Flybe isn't hiring, but PAS Aviation is to meet their contract obligation with Flybe. Flybe wants that pool to go to the E-195, and to not put them in the 145 and retrain them a year later (they are retiring the 145, hence the need for short-term contract pilots). This is why they are contracting out via PAS Aviation. JAA issues are taken care of by PAS.

No reason for you to post here except to flame. Now take your ball and go away.

This isn't the only place. I'm sitting right now looking at a contract offering $7500 US + Housing for a 6month+ contract at 3 weeks on 2 weeks off with travel back to and from US provided along with an additional $500 per month after completion of contract with $1000 per month per diem. So $9k per month when it's all said and done. These jobs are out here so long as you have the documents in order and are willing to relocate. If I could get a 7month COLA out of RAH I'd be gone for sure. Debating it very heavily.

Have you traveled over there ever? I've been all over and didn't pay these prices. This is good news for any of the XJT guys who might be furloughed. Don't be a jerk about anything and everything just for the sake of it.
