I thought the october vacancy was the one that just closed?

Just looked it up 8-07 is the new one effective Nov 1

8-06 went final about a week ago and is effective Oct 1

I just wish someone would lock tpersuit out of the entire acp forums. I have never heard a constructive, informative, or even entertaining comment from him on any of the threads he's posted in.

In fact, the only way I can really understand his vitriol is if maybe he doesn't really work anywhere and he's a down-on-his luck flight instructor who failed the written at Pinnacle and takes it out on these threads b/c he knows there WERE guys from jet courses getting hired here.

And notice I said WERE. The last few guys I've talked to on fam flights were furloughed ATA, Champion, and Skybus guys. No joke. I've heard the experience levels have shot up due to the current state of affairs in the industry. So don't come low-timer bashing when there are guys with 727 and A319 time riding FO and hanging out in ops at 9E.

Believe me, most of us at 9E don't like it either that our company has the Jet U/UND stuff. But there are also 200-300 hour guys at ASA, and Eagle, Mesa, TSA, and 500 hour guys at Chataqua who took jet courses. So seriously, why this 9E-specific chip on your shoulder? Why not go blasting around threads about TSA saying "oh you guys should furlough, becuase you hired 200 hour guys." It's not a unique phenomena at Pinnacle alone to have low-timers from jet courses. It's at a majority of regional carriers, in fact. We didn't do it or ask for it. Our mgmt did.

I know our moderators here have plenty more to do than police tpersuit's antagonistic comments on Pinnacle threads. I just wish I could understand why you have such a thorn in your backside about 9E.

Please leave acp unless you're here to talk about your own company. No one gets anything out of your posts, but your posts inevitably turn the topic away from the sharing of facts and rumors (what this site is all about) to childish name-calling.

Sorry, but I don't say something unless someone spews crap on here about another pilot group. This time one of your Pinnacle "buddies" bashed a Delta mainline pilot.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. I have no beefs with Pinnacle pilots, just those, such as yourself that bash mainline guys for getting on you for not thinking it is wrong to fly a -900 at such low pay. There's nothing wrong with being a -900 pilot if you think the pay is hogwash. The problem you guys run into is try and put your problems on me as if I was the source of your problems.

Sorry, but all the Pinnacle threads I have become a part of were because someone had complained that Big Bad Delta was taking your high paying -900 flying away. Sorry, but Delta mainline pilots will rejoice that every time it happens. Waaaa Waaaa Waaaa

And I hope you are not too junior because your butt will be looking to fly a RJ after the merger if furloughs are incurred.

I have watched and just am curious as to tpersuit and his holiness thoughts on other airlines. You are sooo proud of your airline and work rules you just seem to need to remind everyone else of it. Why do you put so much effort into things that don't affect you? Why are you right and everyone else wrong....Especially when it is not even your airline? Get a girlfriend or a dog man.

Any news to support a positive for the industry right now is good news. We are a pilot group. Unfortunately we do not factor into the day to day decisions so we can only work to better our own circumstances. Bashing others is what is absolutely wrong with this industry.

It's like bragging about being the tallest midget at the carnival. Dude, you are still a midget.
If this is directed at me, please read my above posts. I have always supported regional pilots, defended them in the mainline cockpits when guys didn't know or understand the profession, etc. I am a former regional pilot and did five years of furlough. So I don't joke about anyone going on furlough. I am interested in what's going on for both the regional pilots and the mainline pilots. I am passionate about this industry as a whole. I am married to a great girl and have a dog. I also like to read about what others are thinking.

And I think you are DEAD WRONG saying we are blue collar workers trying to make white collar wages. If you believe this then you have lost what made this industry great and could return it to its glory. If you think you are a blue collar worker is it because of how you conduct yourself at work? Wages in my mind don't define blue collar vs. white collar.

uh no. by good fight i mean doing the same thing we have been doing. not accepting the crappy contract management offered us 2 years ago. going to pickets. supporting our union's mec. telling the negotitating guys what we will vote for and to accept nothing less. you know. the same stuff the pinnacle pilots have been doing for over 3 years now.

Good luck with that. The only thing that matters is what hits them in the pocket book.
